Land Rover Defender Unveils New Available Features and Colors

For 2013 model year, Land Rover Defender is offering a list of new features and colors for their Europe market. These include three additional options and two fresh exterior body colors – Havana and Barolo Black. Below is a quick glance at the three new features that Land Rover Defender has in store.

The first option gives buyers a choice of four new contrast roof colors that include Indus Silver, Firenze Red, Orkney Grey and Santorini Black. Plus, the standard Fuji White color will also be there.

The 2013 Land Rover Defender gives buyers the option to choose a body hugging seat design, partially wrapped in leather with the Land Rover logo on the backrest which is available for driver and front passenger.

If you enjoy music while driving, you have the option to choose the upgraded base audio system that now adds Bluetooth connectivity with remote microphone and Alpine-branded Hi Line 150W low profile subwoofer system with 10cm coaxial speakers. 

Under the hood, the 2013 Land Rover Defender is powered by the standard 2.2-liter turbocharged diesel engine that is able to churn out 120 hp. The acceleration is pretty fast, it can zoom in from 0-60mph in just 14.7 seconds with a top speed of 90 mph. The CO2 emission is as per standard, and on the combined cycle are 266g/km for the Defender 90 and 295g/km for the 110 and 130.

The 2013 Land Rover goes on sale in Europe from September 2012. The price starts from £22,350.
