Land Rover showcased its latest U.S. model line-ups at the 2017 New York International Auto Show, April 12 – 23, with the global debut of the all-new Range Rover Velar. Land Rover’s activities were kicked off this week with a New York City customer preview of the Range Rover Velar featuring a special performance by, Ellie Goulding.
RANGE ROVER VELAR
After its global debut at the Geneva Motor Show, the all-new 2018 Range Rover Velar will be on display for the first time in the United States at the New York International Auto Show before going on sale, priced from $49,900.
The Velar is in-between the Range Rover Evoque and Range Rover Sport, it is the next generation of direction for Range Rover line; offering luxury, refinement and all-terrain capability for a mid-size SUV.
Three available diesel and gas powertrains:
A180hp 2.0-liter turbocharged Ingenium diesel 4-cylinder
A 247hp 2.0-liter turbocharged gas Ingenium 4-cylinder
A 380hp supercharged 3.0-liter gas V6 engine
Alongside the 2018 Range Rover Velar, Land Rover will also display the Land Rover Discovery, Land Rover Discovery Sport, Range Rover Sport, Range Rover Evoque, Range Rover Evoque Convertible and Range Rover SVAutobiography Dynamic.
